Maker's Mark, the iconic handmade Kentucky bourbon, unveiled a limited-edition bottle honoring America's 250th anniversary. The release features the brand's signature hand-dipped red wax, accented with a white wax dip and a blue rendition of its iconic seal. Beginning June 1, the bottle will be available at select retailers nationwide, and a portion of proceeds will benefit Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC), a national nonprofit that has helped more than 58,000 U.S. veterans build meaningful careers in agriculture.
Jefferson’s Bourbon celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary with the release of Founder's Reserve 20-year. Founder’s Reserve 20-Year-Old is inspired by the pioneering spirit of America, the same spirit embodied by our namesake, Thomas Jefferson. In 1787, as U.S. Minister to France, he traveled through Bordeaux seeking out new techniques and new possibilities. That same curiosity fuels the brand today. Two decades of aging in Kentucky yield exceptional depth and complexity to the bourbon, with layers of dark fruit, dried oak, and a richness only time can deliver. The Bordeaux finish adds a final layer of influence to the palate, softening the long finish. The bourbon is then bottled at cask strength, 94 proof (47% ABV). With only 250 bottles produced, each individually numbered and signed, Founder’s Reserve 20-Year-Old is the ultimate release to celebrate this momentous occasion for America.
There is no denial that Green River Distillery produces great bourbon, so I was excited to hear about the Army's 250th Anniversary. Created in partnership with the U.S. Army to mark its 250th Anniversary, this is the official bottle of a historic milestone. This limited-edition release is a bold celebration of 250 years of service and sacrifice. Bottled at an Army Strong 111.1 proof in honor of Veterans Day (11/11), this release pays tribute to the courage, commitment, and enduring legacy of those who have served. The mash bill is 75% Kentucky-grown corn, 15% Rye, and 10% malted barley. Full-bodied taste with notes of caramel, black cherry, and cocoa. The profile is exceptional.
