King of Kentucky’s Coveted Single Barrel Bourbon Returns for Another Limited Release
Bourbon collectors and enthusiasts have another highly anticipated bottle to watch for this fall. Brown-Forman’s King of Kentucky Single Barrel Bourbon is making its return with a limited release of 99 barrels of 14-year-old Kentucky bourbon, bottled at cask strength and ranging from 125 to 135 proof. Known for its rarity and exceptional craftsmanship, King of Kentucky has become one of the most sought-after names in American whiskey since the historic label was revived in 2018.
The 2026 release was selected from barrels aged in two Brown-Forman warehouses, resulting in a bourbon with notes of orange zest, rich caramel, dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow, maple syrup, and baking spice. Each bottle is hand-filled, wax-dipped, individually numbered, and includes details about its proof, barrel, and warehouse location. With limited availability and a suggested retail price of $399, this annual release is expected to be a favorite among bourbon fans nationwide.
