Kentucky Bourbon Country Auction & Celebration Debuts President’s Day Weekend 2026
Bourbon lovers, mark your calendars—Louisville is about to launch a brand-new tradition. The Kentucky Bourbon Country Auction & Celebration (KBCA) is set to debut February 13–15, 2026, bringing together the best of Kentucky bourbon, culinary excellence, and community spirit for an unforgettable President’s Day Weekend.
Timed to coincide with America’s 250th anniversary, the inaugural KBCA honors bourbon as the nation’s native spirit while raising funds for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, supporting veterans, first responders, and their families.
A First-of-Its-Kind Bourbon Experience
Founded by Andrew Varga and backed by a powerhouse team of industry leaders, the KBCA is designed to unite legendary distillers, rising brands, and bourbon fans from across the country. Attendees can expect:
- Exclusive tastings of rare and award-winning bourbons
- Luxury auction lots and one-of-a-kind barrels
- Kentucky-inspired culinary pairings and chef-driven events
- Behind-the-scenes distillery tours and limited releases
Major participating distilleries include Brown-Forman, Four Roses, Heaven Hill, and J. Mattingly 1845 Distillery, with additional distilleries to be announced. Their involvement underscores Kentucky’s role as the global epicenter of bourbon culture.
A Weekend Full of Signature Events
The celebration kicks off with the Grand Reveal Tasting at the Frazier History Museum —an immersive evening of rare bourbons, Kentucky cuisine, and entertainment.
The centerpiece of the weekend is The Kentucky Bourbon Country Auction, featuring a bourbon-paired dinner crafted by some of Kentucky’s top chefs and a live auction showcasing the world’s most collectible bottles and barrels.
Other highlights include:
- A blind-tasting brunch curated by Chef Michael Crouch at Watch Hill Proper
- A bourbon-inspired culinary showcase with Chef John Varanese at Savor at River House
- Exclusive distillery tours with tastings and limited-edition releases offered only during the KBCA weekend
Community Support Behind the Celebration
The KBCA is backed by a strong lineup of community and business partners, including Delta Dental, BourbonCountry.com, Louisville Water, Mint Julep Experiences, and several others whose support helps bring this new tradition to life.
“As Louisville’s Bourbon Country continues to grow, events like this highlight the culture and people who make bourbon a way of life,” said Stacy Yates, Chief Marketing Officer at Louisville Tourism.
