Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville

Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront returns for its eleventh year in 2017. Sponsored by Kroger, the party starts on the Great Lawn on Thursday, April 27 and runs through Derby Eve, Friday May 5. It promises to have something for everyone- and admission is free with a 2016 Pegasus Pin ®.

The 900,000-square-foot venue will host several Festival events including the U.S. Bank Great Balloon Glimmer, Battle of the Bounce, Chow Wagon, Zumba® Fitness Party, Ohio Valley Wrestling Run for the Ropes, Passport Health Plan GospelFest, HappyTail Hour, KenDucky Derby, miniFun Run presented by Humana, BeerFest presented by American Founders Bank, Splat Out Cancer and the awards presentation for the Great Steamboat Race, among others.

Fest-a-Ville also offers a wide variety of activities for children, including an expanded midway-area and attractions at Pegasus Play-Ville such as a ferris wheel, merry-go-round, a giant slide and much more. Helicopter rides return this year for $40 (April 27-May 5), and new this year NeXtreme Knockball is offered daily from 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

From the opening day ribbon-cutting to Derby Eve, Fest-a-Ville will be the downtown destination at Kentucky Derby Festival time.
