Kentucky Derby Museum

Located on the grounds of Churchill Downs – the legendary home of the Kentucky Derby – you can experience the tradition, history, hospitality and pride of “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” year-round. Order up a Mint Julep (the Official Cocktail of the Kentucky Derby) or an Old Fashioned (Louisville’s Official Cocktail) at the museum’s café, an official stop on Louisville’s Urban Bourbon Trail. You can also meet Kentucky Bourbon celebrities during the museum’s Legend Series: Bourbon Masters, which celebrates the culture, people and history of Bourbon. The event is hosted by the museum’s very own Bourbon Authority, Fred Minnick.
