International Bluegrass Music Museum

Owensboro is home to the International Bluegrass Music Museum and also the world-class bluegrass music festival, ROMP. The International Bluegrass Music Association named ROMP as their #1 Bluegrass Event in 2012 over international competition. Attendees are welcome to camp out on the grounds of Yellow Creek Park. ROMP attracts the best-known names in bluegrass, with past performers such as Ricky Skaggs, Steve Martin, Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, Punch Brothers, and Old Crow Medicine Show.
