Zoofari! 2022

Feathers, flappers and fun are the focus of this year’s 41st annual premier fundraiser benefitting the Louisville Zoo.

Step back into the Prohibition era when you join the Friends of the Louisville Zoo for Zoofari! 2022 on Saturday, June 11 at the Louisville Zoo. Presented by Brown-Forman, this year’s “Roaring into the Twenties” themed event is back in person and begins with specialty appetizers, cocktails and animal encounters in the Islands exhibit area. You then travel to the Zoo’s Oasis event field for live music, dancing, silent and live auctions, and more. New this year, you can relax and unwind with an exclusive signature drink, giveaways and more inside the private VIP speakeasy. Shhhh… you’ll need to watch for the secret password for this VIP access.

While at the Islands exhibit, you also may catch a glimpse of the elusive Sumatran tiger, orangutans, siamangs, the Malayan tapirs and colorful birds along the way.

Zoofari! is the premier annual fundraiser benefitting the Louisville Zoo. Proceeds raised will support renovations to the Louisville Zoo’s MetaZoo education facility and the Animal Ambassador Program. The program introduces animals to students and families during activities such as Safari Day Camps and virtual learning sessions, special events, community festivals and outreach experiences. Through continued conservation education with animal ambassadors, the Zoo will have the opportunity to introduce and nurture an appreciation for all species and our place in this world.

Event guests must be 21 years of age or older and show a valid ID to enter.
