LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 10, 2017) – A new tour highlighting Louisville’s spirits and craft beer scene has just made its debut.

The Brandy, Bourbon & Beer Tour offers a unique, behind-the-scenes experience at three premier Louisville distilleries and breweries: Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, Copper & Kings Brandy Distillery and Goodwood Brewing.

Visitors will be transported to each venue where they will enjoy tastings and get an up-close, unique view of the facility. The first stop on the tour is Copper & Kings, where tour goers will learn how Kentucky’s rich distillation heritage forged the way for American Craft Brandy. Sample your choice of brandies, absinthe or American Craft Gin. Guests will also be treated to a luxury cocktail and lunch from the Butchertown Pie Co.

Next, you’ll travel back in time to the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience Speakeasy to learn about the early days of America’s Native Spirit on historic Whiskey Row. A certified Bourbon Steward will guide you through a tasting of award-winning bourbons from the American Whiskey portfolio of family-owned Heaven Hill Distillery.

The tour ends at Goodwood Brewing, home of bourbon barrel beer. Guests will tour the brewery, housed in a 200-year-old building in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood. Sample beers aged in bourbon and brandy barrels in the barrel-room basement, and learn how to make beer cocktails using Goodwood Beer and Kentucky spirits.

The Brandy, Bourbon & Beer tour takes places on Thursdays. It begins at 10:30 a.m. and ends at approximately 4 p.m. Tours depart and end at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown (350 W. Chestnut St.). Parking is available in the hotel garage. Following the tour, guests are invited to head upstairs to the hotel’s bar/restaurant, 8UP Elevated Drinkery & Kitchen, where they will receive 25 percent off food and drinks.
