Fred Noe Bourbon Dinner at Varanese

Fred Noe III, current Jim Beam Master Distiller and “Global Ambassador” of bourbon, will host a special “Beam Small Batch Collection Distiller Dinner” at Varanese Restaurant, located at 2106 Frankfort Avenue, on Thursday, September 28, with a reception at 6:30pm and dinner at 7:00pm. The evening will include comments from Master Distiller Noe and four creative courses expertly paired with different cocktails from the award-winning distillery. The cost is $60 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required with a credit card and can be made by calling (502) 899-9904 or emailing letsdine@varanese.com.

Roasted Chicken and Dried Cherry Sausage

with Bourbon Smoked Mustard, Pickled Red Onions,

Goat Cheese and Frisee Lettuce

 

 

Second Course

Butternut Squash Bisque Topped with Sautéed Bay Scallops

With Julianne Granny Smith Apples and Pumpkin Seed Gremolata

 

 

Third Course

Entrée Cocktail: “Barolo Manhattan”

Texas Style Smoked Beef Ribs

Served over a Caramelized Onion and Bacon Hash Cake

With Bleu Cheese and Brussels Sprout Slaw

 

Fourth Course

Dessert Cocktail: “Kentucky Cappuccino”

Roasted Pumpkin Ice with Candied Walnuts,

Toasted Milk Meringue, Chocolate Tuile, Brûléed Marshmallow

And Graham Cracker Crumble
