Botany of Bourbon

Have you ever wondered about the grains and botanicals that go into making your favorite bottle of bourbon? Join Paul Cappiello, Yew Dell Botanical Garden’s Executive Director, at our friends and neighbors’ Kentucky Artisan Distillery, the Home of Jefferson’s Bourbon, for a casual conversation about the Botany of Bourbon. Guests will tour the distillery and learn about the process that goes into turning these grains into Kentucky’s favorite spirit. We’ll have Chateau Bourbon serving hors d’oeuvres and of course, different Kentucky Artisan favorites on hand to sample. Invite some friends to learn botany, drink bourbon, and ask questions.
