Team Bourbon is a group of Kentucky based bourbon authors who have a passion for whiskey and a desire to help out the distilling community when disaster strikes. There will be a dozen authors along with their books for autograph and sale. With a portion of the sales going to the fund established by the Kentucky Distillers’ Association for the families of the cousins Kyle and Jay Rogers. Sadly, Kyle Rogers passed away, while Jay continues battling against the burns he suffered.
Also, we will be offering a tasting of Single Barrel Bourbons we selected. Cameo appearances from some Master Distillers will make the day all the more interesting. Grab a gift for the bourbon lover in your family, have a bottle and book signed and help raise some much needed funds.
This special event to help raise funds for Silver Creek Distillery will occur from 1 to 3 P.M. on Saturday June 13, 2015 at Westport Whiskey & Wine located at 1115 Herr Lane Suite 140 in Louisville, KY.
